This restaurant excels in preparation of goose feasts and other goose specialities(e.g goose liver), which are appreciated by a number of statesmen, politicians, diplomats and other international celebrities, who visit Slovakia.
Prepares goose dishes according to traditional recipes inherited in her family over generations.
Received a number of awards and recognition for her culinary skills. She regularly represents Slovak cuisine at international food festivals and competitions. 2nd place in specialty restaurant in Slovakia 2002.

KINGDOM OF GOOSE

The picturesque village of Slovensky Grob has just recently become the official Kingdom of Goose. Of course, with all that belongs to the kingdom. It has its anthem, its coat of arms and its statue.

​The restaurant Pivnica u zlatej husi is an inspirational place where we can prepare goose specialties in the highest quality and according to traditional recipes. Even the very idea of ​​the royal project was born in the head of co-founder of the restaurant Pivnica u zlatej husi, Danka Kissling.

​It is also no coincidence that the Kingdom of Goose was born in Slovensky Grob. The preparation of delicacies has more than 120 years of history in this area. The hurry for hunter’s appetizers attracts more domestic and foreign gourmets.
